Episode 17 – Cardo’s Family Fun Center SVC Sports Talk 013012

On this week’s show, the process for selecting the All-Time SVC Dream Team is ready for the final vote as fans have selected the players they want on the final ballot.

It was also an exciting week on the hardwood as we look back at the PV/ZT thriller on Tuesday night for girls, and we revisit “Upset Friday Night” for the boys. During the girls’ section, Shayne Combs and Eric Snyder will talk officiating in late game situations, and for boys, we hear from Zane Trace head coach Bryan Alley as his Pioneers are off to a 3-0 start in the second league round.

SVCsportszone.com also welcomes Dr. Strauch from Adena Sports Medicine to talk about the various injuries in this year’s league as well as how athletes can best prepare themselves for the grind of any sports season.

For this week’s Fast Break, we once again are splitting the boys and girls. For boys, we analyze several factors in the stretch run for the SVC title. As for girls, we are looking at the standings, the schedule, the postseason, and the all-league selections.

Lastly, we had another busy week in the inbox, and one of the emails on this week’s show is revisiting the topic of free throw shooting.
