In this episode, we discuss the many programs and activities that are scheduled in the upcoming weeks at the Herbert Wescoat Memorial Library with the Director of the library, Clint Walker.  We speak with Joy Dickerson, Director of the Vinton County United Way about a recycling program that they are instituting, and we review the plans for the Vinton County Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas in Downtown with the Chairperson for the event, Trecia Kimes-Brown.  All of this, plus our weekly Calendar of Events in the on-line local audio program highlighting news & information about the people and events in Vinton County, Ohio.

  1. Bruce, I really enjoy your Vinton County On the Air Podcasts. I think I have caught up on all of the past episodes now. You and Carl do excellent and interesting interviews. It is so nice to be able to here them so loud, clear, and static free down here in San Antonio. Your podcast about “Podcasts” was great. As Veterans day approaches, I can’t help but think about our service members serving throughout the world. I am sure that many from Vinton County must enjoy listening to your podcast each week. I know that I would have looked forward to it — if the capability had existed back when I was in the Air Force. Thanks for making it available for us Vinton Countians, no matter where we happen to be located now.
