Episode 14 – Cardo’s Family Fun Center SVC Sports Talk 010912

After a week away for the New Year, the Cardo’s Family Fun Center SVC Sports Talk Podcast Show returns with a great show to tip-off 2012. SVCsportszone.com’s Shayne Combs and Eric Snyder have plenty of basketball to talk about for both girls and boys.

In girls’ basketball, the show takes a detailed look at last week’s SVC showdown with Adena and Unioto. The game recap includes stats, analysis, and audio from Adena’s head coach Jeran Cox, Jenny Grigsby, and Autumn Smith as well as Unioto head coach Jeff Miller. Unfortunately, there was bad news on the girls’ side as well as Piketon’s Alex Southworth suffered what appears to be a season-ending injury.

On the boys’ side, Shayne and Eric discuss Huntington’s undefeated start including the incredible fourth-quarter play of Brice Vickers this past weekend.

Finally, it has been a busy two weeks in the website inbox, and Shayne and Eric will answer several questions including a “bonus” section of the Fast Break. Topics include headlines and awards at the halfway point of the season, best little league and junior high programs, coaching attire, and a close look at the Westfall basketball programs.
