On this week’s show, SVCsportszone.com’s Shayne Combs and Eric Snyder look back at the big boys’ showdown this past Friday night between Huntington and Unioto, and they also look ahead to this week’s girls’ championship game as Unioto travels to Adena. In the recap of the boys, the fans will hear post game comments from Unioto head coach Matt Hoops as well as Unioto center Chase Detillion. In preparation for the girls, Adena head coach Jeran Cox and Unioto head coach Jeff Miller will both give their thoughts on the big game while Shayne and Eric breakdown some keys of their own.
The SVC also had some great individual achievements this week. Huntington’s Dylan Gragg scored his 1,000th career point while Zane Trace’s Taylor Hatfield signed to become a Division-I college athlete at Alabama.
Finally, the inbox as well as the Fast Break is full of topics concerning all-league voting and postseason play. The fans also continue to have plenty of questions and comments when it comes to selecting the all-time SVC team.
